Convenience — Students who live on campus have access to campus resources without the commute or parking hassles. Residents take advantage of free walk-in tutoring, computer labs, and study lounges for their study groups. The Peterson Heritage Center houses the information desk, dining room, convenience store, mailboxes, lounge, classrooms, music practice rooms and a dance room.

Community — Students from 46 states and 59 countries call the residence halls home while studying for midterms, cheering in the Mighty Utah Student Section (MUSS) or walking to the library. In addition, opportunities for student leadership abound with the Residence Halls Association and National Residence Hall Honorary.

College Experience — A variety of partnerships with academic programs allow residents to enrich their learning experience while living on campus. The LEAP program, Honors College and College of Engineering all work with Housing & Residential Education to provide living/learning environments in the residence halls. Students living in these communities meet with faculty and participate in programs around their shared interests.

Students can apply for housing, select a room, select roommates, and pay their bill online. For more information, or to apply online, please visit www.housing.utah.edu.
