Alumni Association


The Alumni Association is the place to get U of U license plates, alumni credit cards, and more. Proceeds are used for its general scholarship fund. Last year, more than $150,000 in scholarships was awarded to students from all walks of life.

  • Administers the Beehive Honor Society, the oldest honor society at the U
  • Recognizes outstanding alumni, faculty, staff, and students through awards and scholarships
  • Supports alumni chapters across the country, from Los Angeles to New York

Did you know? The University of Utah Alumni Association was founded in 1886 by a small group of “normal” teaching alumni. A “normal school” was the term used in the late 1800s and early 1900s for an institution that trained public school teachers.
